The Committee of the Council

 

The Committee of the Council consists of seven members of the Council of the University Senate, chosen annually by members of the Council through the use of the Hare System of Proportional Representation.  The President and Provost serve as ex officio members, without a vote.  The President is the presiding officer of the Committee.

The Committee of the Council meets every two weeks in October, November, and January-May. The meeting schedule for 2012-2013 is as follows (all meetings to take place from 12:00 noon – 1:30 p.m.):
