Ruling Bodies

According to Section 12.2 of the Statutes of the University of Chicago, the University Ruling Bodies consist of the following:

  • The Council of the University Senate;
  • The Faculty of the College;
  • The Faculty of the Division of the Biological Sciences, including the Pritzker School of Medicine;
  • The Faculty of the Division of the Humanities;
  • The Faculty of the Division of the Physical Sciences;
  • The Faculty of the Division of the Social Sciences;
  • The Faculty of the Booth School of Business;
  • The Faculty of the Divinity School;
  • The Faculty of the Law School;
  • The Faculty of the Irving B. Harris Graduate School of Public Policy Studies;
  • The Faculty of the School of Social Service Administration;
  • The Faculty of the Oriental Institute;
  • The Faculty of the Pritzker School of Molecular Engineering;
  • The University Boards:
    • The Board of the Library;
    • The Board of the Graham School of Continuing Liberal and Professional Studies;
    • The Board of University Publications;
    • The Board of Computing Activities and Services; and
    • The Board of Campus and Student Life.
